About Us..
Who are we?
Pottal Fii Bhantal UK is a UK wide charity, formed by the West African community living in the UK. We are a non-political charitable support group which promote human rights, provide support to victims of human right abuses and assist its members in the process of integration to the community in the UK. We are a registered charity with registration number 1156495.
Our objectives
POTTAL UK CHARITABLE OBJECTIVES:
To promote human rights (as set out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and subsequent United Nations conventions and declarations) throughout the world.
The prevention or relief of poverty [or financial hardship] anywhere in the world by providing or assisting in the provision of education, training, healthcare projects and all the necessary support designed to enable individuals to generate a sustainable income and be self-sufficient.
We are currently working predominantly in Guinea and Sierra Leone, West Africa and with the West African communities based in the UK.
